I'm Rahim, and I've run Handyman Builder Ltd since 2020. Most of my work is floor and wall tiling and bathrooms, along with the plastering, partitions and painting that go with them.
I work for homeowners, shops, cafés and offices. I do the work myself, so the person who prices your job is the person who does it.
A good finish depends on the preparation underneath it. Tap a photo to see the same job finished.
Who you'll deal with
My name is Abdurrahim Sucin, Rahim for short. I set up Handyman Builder Ltd in August 2020 and I'm on site doing the work myself. You won't be passed between a salesman and a different team.
A lot of my work comes from tile showrooms and from customers who come back for a second job.
How a job runs
I come and look at the space, measure up and talk through what you want.
You get a clear price. On bigger jobs we agree payment stages before I start.
I keep you updated by phone or WhatsApp and leave the site tidy at the end of each day.
Some of the businesses I've worked for
Most recent first. Private homeowners aren't listed.
Oakridge Health LtdBirstall, Leicester
A renovation of the company's office. I prepared and painted the walls and carried out the tiling as part of the same job, so the client had one tradesperson for the whole renovation rather than several.
Girl In Mind LtdLeicester
A fit-out carried out in stages over four months. I put up plasterboard and plastered the walls, laid laminate flooring and did the tiling, then boarded the ceilings and painted the space. Each stage was finished before the next one started.
Berry Grill LtdLiverpool
I removed the old tiles, cleaned back and prepared the surface underneath, and filled and levelled any uneven areas so the new tiles would sit flat. I then set out the new layout so the cut tiles at the edges were even, fixed the tiles in adhesive, and finished with grouting and a full clean-down.
Aymsmart LtdLeicester
A tiling job from preparation to finish. I checked and prepared the surface, planned the layout so the tiles lined up and the cuts were even, and fixed each tile in adhesive, checking it for level as I went. I then grouted and cleaned down to leave a neat, hard-wearing finish.
Richmore Hospitality LtdLeicester
72 m² of 120 × 120 cm floor tiles. Tiles this large show every dip in a floor, so I prepared and levelled the base first, then laid each tile with full adhesive cover, keeping the joints straight and the surface flat across the whole area before grouting.
Alans Elif LtdLiverpool
I painted the full venue. The walls and woodwork were filled, sanded and prepared first, then painted throughout for a clean, even finish.
Turkish Ceramic CentreAbbey Lane, Leicester
Tiling at their premises on Abbey Lane. I prepared the surfaces and set out the layout so the tiles and cuts sat evenly, then fixed and levelled each tile before grouting and cleaning down.
Liya SupermarketHinckley Road, Leicester
I laid 35 m² of laminate flooring for the supermarket in August 2024. They were happy with it and asked me back the following June for more laminate flooring.
Properties 3Loughborough
Wall and floor tiling in two bathrooms in 2024. I prepared the walls and floors, tiled them, and grouted and finished neatly around the fittings. They brought me back a year later for further tiling.
Bux Plumbing CentreTemple Road, Leicester
85 m² of 60 × 60 cm ceramic floor tiles for the plumbing centre. It was a labour-only job: the customer supplied the tiles, and I prepared the floor, set out the layout and laid, grouted and cleaned the full area.
Hiwa Lano LtdEldon Street, Leicester
I painted the whole market, preparing the surfaces first and working through the space area by area.
Liverpool Bistro LtdBistro Franc, Hanover Street, Liverpool
Painting, tiling and flooring for the bistro, all carried out in one job, so the client didn't have to bring in separate trades.
Sehaj Real Estate LtdLeicester
Painting a whole house in December 2022, followed by smaller jobs, and in June 2024 45 m² of floor tiling.
Kutahya Ceramic TilesLeicester Road, Wigston
My longest-running client. I boarded, plastered and painted their showroom, then laid 225 m² of 80 × 80 cm tiles on the showroom floor and tiled the walls and ceiling. Since then they've booked me for bathrooms, toilets, living rooms and kitchen floors (including 120 × 120 cm tiles), and in 2024 for the plasterboard and plastering of a showroom on Abbey Lane.
The Corner CafeCoventry Road, Hinckley
A full ground-floor refit, paid in stages. I cleared out the old floors and walls, levelled the floor with concrete, tiled the whole ground floor and the kitchen walls (with tiled skirting), built a partition for the kitchen and painted the ground floor. Upstairs I built two new WCs, raising the floor for the plumbing, boarding and tiling them and fitting two toilets and three basins. The waste went in four skips.
Where I work
Mostly Leicester and the towns around it. For bigger commercial jobs I've also travelled further, to Liverpool and Swansea.

Questions people ask
If yours isn't here, just ask me.
Do you supply the tiles and materials?
Either way works. Most of my jobs are labour-only: you choose and buy the tiles and materials, and I bring the tools and do the work. If you'd rather I buy the materials, I'll include them in the price.
Can you give me a price from photos?
I can give you a rough idea from photos and measurements sent on WhatsApp. For a fixed price I come and look at the space first, because the condition of the walls and floor makes a big difference.
How long will my job take?
It depends on the size of the job and how much preparation the walls and floors need. I'll give you a timeframe with the price, and keep you updated as the job goes.
How does payment work?
On bigger jobs we agree payment stages before I start, for example a payment at the start, one part-way through and the rest when it's finished. Smaller jobs are paid when the work is done. You always get an invoice from Handyman Builder Ltd.
Can you take out the old tiles and get rid of the waste?
Yes. I can strip out old tiles, level the floor and arrange a skip for the rubbish.
Do you take on commercial work?
Yes. I've worked in shops, cafés, restaurants, offices, a warehouse and tile showrooms, as well as homes. Some of them are listed above.
Are you insured?
Yes. Handyman Builder Ltd has £1 million public liability insurance.
